Tom Baker
Tom is 13 years old. Tom's parents are from a traveling background. They have 13 children together, including Tom, ten of whom still live with their mother in a caravan settlement in East London.
Tom followed his older brothers into boxing at the age of six, attending Repton and taking part in gym boxing shows. Over the years Tom has won several regional junior titles, and in 2005 won the most prestigious title of his career, the National Cadets Championships.
The local education authority in Tom's area employs a liaison officer to help relations between the travelling community and his school, and as a result of this Tom receives some home schooling in addition to his more formal education.
Tom's dream is to follow his Uncle Mark into professional boxing after winning an ABA title, and if this is out of reach, he thinks he'll probably go into roofing like his Dad, or perhaps become a brickie.
