Before viewing
Discuss the following questions in pairs
1. What do you know about cruising (in cars)? 2. Do you think it's illegal? 3. What aspects of cruising would you say pointed to antisocial behaviour?
During / after viewing
Discuss the following questions in groups
- What do you think of the amount of money and time that some of the cruisers spend on their cars? Would you spend that amount of money on a hobby?
- What do the members of the public interviewed think of cruising? What are the views of the police? Do you sympathise with any of these views?
- Make a list of the positive and negative aspects of cruising. What would attract you or put you off getting into cruising?
- Would you consider anything about Ash and Steph's behaviour that can be seen as antisocial?
- Having watched some of the other programmes, conduct a survey to find out what people see as antisocial behaviour. It would be interesting to include interviews with the older generation to find out what was seen as antisocial when they were teenagers.
