00:00 – 06:30 Monday
It's been tough since Peaches' dad left four years ago. She and Sue scarcely see each other some days, as Sue dashes off to work and Peaches goes to the ice rink to train after school. Sue doesn't often watch Peaches doing the skating that she loves so much, and back home there's tension because Sue has brought home piles of paperwork – again.
06:31 – 10:19 Tuesday
Sue's up early to do the chores. Money's been tight since she divorced, and her family chips in with expenses to make sure that Peaches can carry on skating. As a freelance market researcher, Sue works long, arduous days and can't turn down evening or weekend work because she needs the money. She doesn't think Peaches realises just how much she does. Peaches is staying at her auntie's overnight, but she leaves in a huff because she feels Sue's ignoring her.
10:20 – 13:27 Wednesday
Sue and Peaches have both felt better since the marriage ended, but the downside has been the pressures on the family. Peaches feels that Saskia has had an unfair amount of her mum's attention.
13:28 – 14:52 Thursday
Another frantic day. As Peaches gets home from skating, Sue's going off for an evening doing market research at a cinema. Peaches is desperate for a bit more of her mum's time.
14:53 – 19:45 Friday
GCSEs are looming but Peaches doesn't have time to do as much studying as Sue would like, because she's also working for a skating championship. She's afraid that if she doesn't win, her family won't finance her to carry on skating.
19:46 – 21:25 Saturday
Time for a bit of relaxation, and while Peaches goes off to her friend's 16th birthday party, Sue chills out with friends over dinner.
21:26 – 25:00 Sunday
When they watch the film, both Peaches and Sue can see just how much the other has to contend with. Sue promises to switch off her phone when Peaches gets home, and says she'll definitely be there for the next competition too.
