Hardeep Does Race
Hardeep is proud to be British. In Hardeep Does Race, he asks, as a Glaswegian Sikh, is he any less British than a white person? He doesn't think so, but some people disagree. Hardeep undertakes a personal mission to ask the awkward race questions. Just because he wears a turban does that make him less British? Can you ever really become British if you are an immigrant?
He becomes the first Sikh to try his hand at the traditional Anglo-Saxon pastime of Morris dancing, meets a man from Bangladesh who has bought himself a lordship and strives to be more English than the English, and a man who has grown up in the UK and now has his own family here, but refuses to call himself British.
