The teams are given this week's task: to create a format pilot for a series involving 'celebrities'. Greg Dyke chooses James and Gina as producer for Team A and Team B respectively. The teams join the studio audience for the daytime show, The Wright Stuff. They get some tips from presenter Matthew Wright and his guests about handling and getting the best out of celebrities.
09.08 – 20.39
The teams prepare their ideas and find out who their celebrities are. They pitch their ideas to their respective editors, Jeremy Salsby and Ruth Joseph. While Team B's editor Ruth is pleased with their idea, Jeremy rejects Team A's initial idea and finally gives his agreement to James' second suggestion.
20.24 – 25.44
The teams get to meet their celebrities. Gina's celebrities are happy with the format, which involves one of them acting as the presenter while the other two try to trade up signed photos of themselves for articles of the highest possible value, and do this within a given time and specified start and stop geographical points. James has no faith in his team's idea and allows Johnathan to put the plan to their celebrities. When the celebrities appear to have doubts, they are offered 'Plan B', the idea of swapping their clothes with willing members of the public to create a winning style – the idea rejected by their editor, but which the celebrities seem to prefer.
25.05 – 36.01
The teams film their celebrity programmes. Despite a few problems with the props, James' programme, 'Style Stealers', works better than James expected. Gina's team has some difficulties managing their celebrity presenter and goes over budget on hospitality, which leads to some bad feeling within the team.
35.24 – 40.27
Greg, Ruth, Jeremy and the two teams get to see the finished products. Jeremy is surprised to see the programme format he signed off is not the one that James' team has used.
40.07 – end
Greg gives his verdict – Gina's Team B wins. Greg reviews James' performance and James is sent home. Johnathan gets a warning from Greg.
