The OCD Centre

We are a dedicated online, telephone and in-person treatment centre for individuals with anxiety conditions, particularly obsessive compulsive disorder. We are unique in that

  • 80% of our staff have personal experience of OCD. Our experience of the condition and the lack of awareness and suitable treatment in the UK forced us to establish the OCD Centre. We didn't want to be affected anymore so we researched our condition, spoke to other people with OCD, researched approaches and treatment, tested the results, over and over again until we found a system that worked.
  • we practise an innovative recovery and management programme based upon genuine experience and results
  • Dr Jeffrey Schwartz, pioneering author of Brain Lock and The Mind & The Brain, responsible for some of the most significant scientific work and practice in the field of OCD, is our Chairman
  • we offer online, telephone and in person treatment
  • we utilise technology to keep our costs to a minimum so that our fees are relatively low

YoungMinds

Many people have ignored the mental health of children. But we know that children have minds of their own - and these days they have a lot on their minds. It isn't easy for children to grow up with today's pressures. Most of course cope well enough but there are many whose worries and fears get on top of them and they have trouble getting on with their lives. YoungMinds campaigns about the importance of children's mental health; the importance of recognising when a child is troubled and providing adequate support for these children before their problems escalate out of control.
