This episode rounds off the series and presents various situations around the issue of caring for others. An unwelcome visitor causes chaos in the newly-made wildlife area by strewing litter everywhere. This turns out to be Scraggs, the dog owned by an elderly man who finds it difficult to take him out for walks. Eventually a solution is found in the form of Ryan, who agrees to help take care of Scraggs.

The most dramatic example of taking care occurs when Jessie arrives home to find her mum is just about to give birth to her baby brother.

Jessie is dropped off at her house by Stella, Simone's mum. Jessie thinks it strange that her mum isn't at the door to greet her. Her mum is lying on the sofa in great discomfort. She is about to have the baby.
