Set in a frozen wasteland in the far north of Russia, this is a brilliant blend of legend and history. A young Czar is imprisoned while his sister plots to succeed in his place. Only the witches can possibly combat such a terrible misuse of power, and it falls to the witch-girl Chingis to hear the cries of the young Czar and rescue him. (12+)
