Jeremy Strong

Jeremy Strong's first job was putting jam into doughnuts. Every night he had to fill 300 doughnuts. It was the most boring job ever!

Things got better when he started playing the electric violin in a rock band - even though the band was pretty hopeless. But it wasn't until he trained to be a teacher that he started to tell and write stories for children.

Jeremy says that his sense of humour got stuck when he was ten years old. He wasn't allowed to read comics when he was a child, but discovered The Beano when he was 16 and has never looked back. He loves jokes, as long as they are not unkind to other people.

Jeremy gets his ideas from overhearing conversations, from remembering things from his childhood, and from funny things he saw when he was a teacher. He loves writing funny stories and making people laugh.
